Stepping Out of the Shadows – A Book Seeks Its Way: Author on Publisher Hunt

For a long time, it was just white noise. A jumble of voices, images of gray village squares, and the blinding light of a grand stage. Now, that noise has taken shape. The Price of Applause is finished. It feels like I’ve accompanied Leo and Max for months on their painful journey, documenting every bruise and every triumph, just as Klaus does in the book. I watched rivalry turn into friendship, and two lone fighters grow into a unit that defies the world’s expectations.

To mark this milestone, I launched this website. It is the logbook of my journey as an author, my own little breakout from the “provinces” of my quiet writing solitude.

But a story only comes alive when it is read. Now we stand on the threshold. The manuscript is packed, the shoes are laced up. What’s missing is the ticket to the big performance. I am now embarking on the search for a literary home—an agency or a publisher who understands that sometimes you have to fall in order to fly.

I’m under no illusions: Finding a publisher is probably as unlikely as becoming a principal dancer as a late starter. It is the true “Pas de Deux” of an author’s life, and I am still looking for my dance partner. So, if you are in the industry and have room for a story that breathes dust, sweat, and genuine connection: Get in touch. ( ) I promise the collaboration will be less painful than my protagonists’ training—but hopefully just as passionate.
